Pebble

A sandy spread horizon.
Stretched further than the eye.
A wondrous sweet scenic frame
While swallows linger by.

This peaceful setting draws me in.
Sand sifting through my toes!
A handful now inside my hand,
Each pebble in a pose!

How many pebbles on this beach?
How many make it sand?
If one is gone, is it complete?
Destroying something planned?

Can one pebble make a difference?
Pebble me or pebble you!
Will a pebble make a difference?
Put a pebble in your shoe!
