Glass House

Behind a glass house, penetration is denied
Blurred by the ray of sunshine
Gleaming in my eye

Safe, Behind this, a protective place
A shield through the test
A spot to finally rest

No doors, no windows, no front , no back
A stone lay in my hand
Destiny now planned

The rock sails straight, though scattered glass
A collage of speckled dance
No noise, a silent trance

Access now assessable, vulnerable to all
No haze, to block my sight now
A step, a mile, a vow

To interact,
Experience
A world so unknown
To feel the light
The treats,
The fears

Emotions run scared, anew
To yearn, to want
To need in true

Desire for the glass returns
A shelter from myself
To hide the hurt, the pain
To hide in self and doubt

The time to feel, the time is now
To turn and run, you would be found.

A hit so hard, you loose your breath
Fight for sanction, fight for rest.

The time is done, you had your chance
You feel the empty space, abreast

Your tears now dry, your head now clear
You smile, you keep the feelings near

For now you understand the rays
For nothing can take it away

It's there to wrap your arms around
And guide you gently to the ground

I now will never be alone
Darkness back and in the light I lost,
Yet won a wondrous place
To keep forever, with God's grace

Behind a glass house, penetration is denied
Blurred by the ray of sunshine
Gleaming in my eye
